Ah, Summer!

Greetings to the Friends, Neighbours and Members of Cressy Glenora Church, Ah, it's summer! I marked the day by heading to Sandbanks in the early evening. I saw this strawberry sunset where the water and sky faded together... meaning the horizon line was all blurred away. Oh, it was so lovely! My inner heart said, "Wow, God, you make beautiful things."

(Above: Sandbanks on the summer solstice. Photo by Aaron.) My sunset moment reminded me of this lovely song written by The Michael Gungor Band in 2009. It's called "You Make Beautiful Things".... I hope you enjoy it.

Ride to Conquer Cancer - WOW!

Congratulations and gratitude to our own Rob L. for sharing these photos from the "Ride to Conquer Cancer" bike ride. Rob wrote,

"Last weekend, our Ride to Conquer Cancer Team rode from Toronto to Niagara Falls. There was a magical moment when the opening ceremonies were taking place, a flock of Canada Geese flew in formation over the crowd. Team Myderwyk rose $95,000 and the ride total was $17 Million, for Cancer Research.

Thank you Rob for inspiring us all with your athletics and generosity toward the social good! (Below: Riders setting up for the race, in front of a beautiful sky!)
